Atelier E&Co. is a multidisciplinary interior architecture and creative design studio based in Perth, Australia. The studio founders’ portfolio includes a wide range of projects, from custom residential designs for significant clients across Europe, Asia, and Australia, to creating exceptional interior spaces for top-tier Hospitality, Retail, and Commercial brands worldwide.
In a nutshell…
Born in Istanbul, Turkey, Ekin spent all her life as a modern nomad living in Paris, Barcelona, Hong Kong and finally in Perth, Australia. She has cultivated a vibrant and cosmopolitan sensibility, infused with a rich tapestry of global influences, through her immersive academic and professional journey across diverse countries and continents.
She is an interior architect with over 15 years of local and international experience, specialized mainly in residential and hospitality design with a very extensive high profile projects. During her career, Ekin has successfully delivered projects in Australia, Asia, Europe, Africa and Middle East. She has worked with some of the world’s most prestigious design firms, on some remarkable projects. Before starting her own brand in Australia, Ekin was working at leading architecture and design practices, such as Woods Bagot, Benoy and recently as Design Director at Stickman Tribe. She also had her own studio in Hong Kong, delivering high end residential projects.
Ekin draws inspiration from a variety of sources including art, fashion, literature, music, cinema, architecture, and craft. She believes that creating successful interiors requires a blend of authentic, site-specific design that honors the history, location, and architecture of the space, along with imaginative and unique use of materials, colors, and shapes.
